Herb and his team take really great care of my family, my cars, and me. I know I can trust Herb to do the right thing at a fair price, provide great service, and give excellent advice.

I've been bringing my cars here for about a year now and they never fail to impress. The level of integrity is unquestionable. I brought my car in because I thought I needed new tires. The mechanic measured the tires and told me I could easily make it to winter with my current tires. When was the last time a mechanic had to convince you that you didn't need to buy something at their shop? I've had multiple other services performed here and I've always been satisfied with the work and the price. They even have a comfortable waiting area with wifi. They always go the extra mile at Hometown Garage!

I've been a very satisfied Hometown Garage customer for years, since their Arlington days. Having owned a string of used cars, I've been been a regular customer, and HG has really never let me down. The mechanics are all really good, and Herb is a fair, courteous and very reliable shop manager (and mechanic). If there is a very specialized repair, he is willing to refer me to another shop where I might get that work done quickly and cheaply, and he is also not afraid to let me know when one of my junkers may be not worth the price of a major repair. Herb Sr. is also really knowledgeable and personable.Fair prices, reliable mechanical work, great customer service, clean/comfortable waiting area with complimentary coffee and soft drinks, David's very friendly shuttle service -- definitely a five-star car repair experience

Honest, competent garage -- what else ya need? Example -- my brakes were making noise and they could easily have sold me new pads and rotors for $400+. But they said it was just some rust, and if I could tolerate the noise, I should wait until things really did wear out. Honesty like that is hard to come by in the car repair business. My only regret is that they used to be within walking distance of my home, but had to move a few miles away because of a nasty landlord. But they have a terrific shuttle service with a lovely gentleman driver who will take you most anywhere in the area on your own personal schedule. And when he's not shuttling, he comes into the waiting room and offers you coffee!

Herb & the crew at Hometown Garage are the best. On several occasions, they have accommodated my "emergency" repairs, always communicating with me, explaining the problem and charging a fair price. Thye drop me off & pick me up from work, and their waiting room is comfortable. Also, every person I have encountered there has been friendly and professional. Today, Herb was able to fix my car door handle in about 3 minutes and refused to accept money for the repair. A trustworthy mechanic is worth his weight in gold & I've found him!

Brakes stopped working on the way to work (not fun). looked them up online and decided to head over but got lost as i'm new to the area. The guy was nice on the phone and gave me directions. Rear brake lines were totally gone and cost me about $460. Had my car back within 24 hours and works fine now...nice guys and nice shop..def would go back again with more car problems.
